Employee Engagement - Thinking Small
Employee Engagement - the latest buzz phrase. Does it really need to be complex and expensive.
Maureen Scholefield urges you to think small no matter what size the organisation. If you can encourage your managers and supervisors to adopt the following behaviours
- Praise and thank your team on a one to one basis and in public
- Be humble - how can you do it all on your own?
- Seek ideas, listen and acknowledge good ideas
- Be emotionally intellgent - remember your mood influences everyone
- Know your people - demonstrate your care - take an interest in their partners and interests - walk the job - be visible
- and finally ... remember that fun and laughter in the workplace is good for everyone.
Six simple ideas that are perhaps difficult to do.
Cullen Scholefield has many good ideas to share and develop with you. Take that step and contact us!!
