Cullen Scholefield Candidates recognised
The Isle of Man CIPD Branch held its Annual General Meeting - the action packed agenda covered:
- The AGM reports - congratulations to Alice Martin who takes over the role of Chair from Lesley Keenan. Members of the new committee are pictured below
- A speech from Mike Langdon FCIPD, Chief Constable, Isle of Man Constabulary Mike passionately believes that Leaders are essential and Managers are necessary
- Student Awards:
- The Ravina Talbot award for the best student from the Isle of Man College
on their Certificate in Personnel Practice Programme
- The Greta Paul award for the best student from Cullen Scholefield's Certificate in Personnel Practice Programmes. This award was given by Iris Belshaw in memory of Greta Paul who mentored her when she was a young HR professional. The winners were Nicola Corran from the Isle of Man Government and Joyce Humphrey from Long and Humphrey, Advocates and Notaries. They achieved well earned distinctions all the way.
- Cullen Scholefield's award for the best Candidate of the Year was drawn from their NVQ and PAC programmes. The winner was Keith Green from the Isle of Man Post Office - a shining example of Continuing Professional Development
