Isle of Man Awards - 12th May 2009

Distinctions, Distinctions and more Distinctions...

Two Certificate in Personnel Practice candidates were awarded the prestigious Greta Paul award. Normally one candidate is selected, but on this occasion the award was shared between Nicola Corran and Joyce Humphrey. Both achieved distinctions for their skills assignments, their integrated project and their written assignment. This is a real rarity. They were also given a bottle of Veuve Cliquot too!

About receiving her award, Joyce said:
"I found the CPP course to be completely relevant to my work and it has changed the way that I look at problems and possible solutions. The course was broken down into manageable workbooks / assignments which enabled me to complete it whilst juggling work and the demands of family life. The tutor's wide knowledge of the subject was impressive, and the support and feedback received from both her and the Assessor was extremely comprehensive and helpful. I would very much recommend this course."

and Nicola said:
"A challenging and rewarding course that equips candidates with a wide range of knowledge and skills necessary to succeed within a HR role. The course provides an insight into many areas of Human Resources and it is delivered by Cullen Scholefield in a way which is enjoyable, practical and fits in with even the most hectic lifestyle!"
