Facilitation of Strategy Development
We work with Directors and Senior Managers to facilitate the production of strategic plans. In doing this we inspire creative thinking and encourage delegates to break out of traditional mind sets. Together we identify achieveable objectives for the organisation.
Delegates are encouraged to identify the key issues to be resolved and the key activities necessary to achieve the strategic plan. We facilitate the development of both the strategic plans and the activities to be implemented. Typically this will assist in the analysis of training needs, in assessments of timescales and responsibilities as well as addressing the issues involved in communicating the strategic plan to other employees.
We believe that the systematic training of all staff to underpin change, improve the skills of personnel staff, trainers, managers and operational staff can only be justified if a correlation can be identified between the training and increased bottom line benefits to the organisation. Evaluation criteria and making a financial case for training are essential aspects of any strategic plan: qualitative and quantitative measures are put in place at the start of any initiative. These measures may include: budget target indicators, levels of service, levels of absence, customer/ employee satisfaction. Senior managers are supported to identify the most appropriate measures for their organisation and develop a plan to gather evidence of the expected cost benefits.
A by-product of such activites is the development of the senior management team. We believe that this is much more focused than the now traditional 'team building' even that is often set in an unrealistic environment where the links to work behaviours are tenuous at best.
