This workshop explores the details of new and proposed legislation, focusing on its realistic application within the workplace.
Aim:
To increase delegate awareness and understanding of legislation and how this impacts on the workplace.
Objectives:
By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:
- State the key new and proposed legislation and explain the key features of each
- Describe the impact of each piece of new and proposed legislation on their workplace
- List key actions to be initiated as a result of each piece of new and proposed legislation
- Provide practical examples to illustrate the application of new and proposed legislation
Methods:
This one day workshop will involve active discussions around existing new and proposed legislation and how these apply to the context of individual delegate’s work places.
