New and Proposed Legislation

  • Is your organization ready to abide by the new legislation, or could you or your organisation be operating contrary to the changing law requirements?
  • Do you need to update your organisational processes, including your staff handbook, in line with new and proposed legislation?

This workshop explores the details of new and proposed legislation, focusing on its realistic application within the workplace.

Aim:

To increase delegate awareness and understanding of legislation and how this impacts on the workplace.

Objectives:

 By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:

  • State the key new and proposed legislation and explain the key features of each
  • Describe the impact of each piece of new and proposed legislation on their workplace
  • List key actions to be initiated as a result of each piece of new and proposed legislation
  • Provide practical examples to illustrate the application of new and proposed legislation

Methods:

This one day workshop will involve active discussions around existing new and proposed legislation and how these apply to the context of individual delegate’s work places.
