Aim:

To introduce you to the key Continuous Improvement Techniques in use within UK PLC today, why they are useful and how they might be used.

Objectives:

By the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:

  • Describe how to manage change and what the role of Continuous Improvement is in a change programme?
  • Identify what the real causes of waste are
  • State the problems of sustaining continuous improvement, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma or Kaizen initiatives
  • Describe four types of change, when they should be used and what makes them work
  • Explain how to overcome behavioural and cultural barriers to change, identifying what is important what requires focus
  • Plan to make the improvement happen and sustain change
  • Keep improvement initiatives alive as an ongoing programme
